Bonjour,
Getting sick of the cathedrals and castles?? Well luckily these 2 are unique! Reims was the cathedral where all the Kings of France were crowned and has the most statues of humans or saints or something in all of France. My personal favourite was the Happy Angel. Did Napoleon Dynamite visit here at one time?? hahaha
Laon was another matter entirely. You know how you always want to go up
on the second little floor of the cathedrals. Well our tour guide took
us up there!! I know... LUCKY!!! Guess what else?!?!?! She took us all
the way to the top of the towers too!! It was an AMAZING view!! And a
dream come true!!!

Salut,
Okay... its actually a monastery! But whoever said monks lived in hardship... well these ones have a HUGE castle... so I don't know anymore how true those tales are... Fortunately, that devastating knowledge didn't stop me from having an AMAZING day! And so... with stronger stairs muscles and a greater appreciation for Harry Potter I give you....
Until next time,
P.C.E.
p.s. We kinda felt like we were in Hogwarts so here you go:

let's sail away to the beaches of Normandy
Salut,
I thought it was about time to document my trip to Normandy! I mean what could be more interesting than learning about WWII where it actually happened?? I also got to see D-day from an American perspective which was different and interesting, I mean they did have a LOT more deaths!! So, here it is... The museums and blood stained benches to beaches and bomb craters. All I can say is I'm grateful for those men whose graves I saw.
